Deep waters series
These paintings were produced for my final MA exhibition. They are inspired by a love and awe of the sea. They are about a feeling of being drawn to the water’s edge, while simultaneously feeling fear of deep water. The sensation of swimming, treading water while the swell rolls in at eye level. The lurching vertigo that is felt upon looking down through clear water into indigo depths.
